We have been there with an excursion of a cruise, starting in East London. After a 40 min bus drive we arrived at the resort. If your goal is guaranteed abundant wildlife sightings in a big open reserve, then Inkwenkwezi feels disappointing compared with large sanctuaries or better-stocked private reserves. We only saw one big five (lion). However, if you enjoy the setting, landscape and the overall atmosphere of being closer to nature, its ok.

A beautiful experience again. Loved the location, it's authenticity and above all the professional and knowledgeable ranger. The water in the shower need to be balanced as it was unpleasantly hot or too cold. The food was well prepped and planned. The ambience and fire was practical, yet romantic. I would do it again.

We had a wonderful Safari at Inkwenkwezi and our Ranger Breydon was exceptional good. As someone who has worked in a Game Reserve myself I do see certain things with a different eye. The Lodge itself needs a bit of maintenance and love and care. But the staff was very friendly from the beginning. We loved our tour very much. Breydon put a lot of effort in to give us a good experience. We saw the majestic white lion and had some good Rhinos sightings which I specifically loved. Breydon sticked to the Ranger codex how to treat animals with respect what I really appreciated. The reserve has some special species like golden wilderbeest or black impala. Nature wise it’s really beautiful. Value for money is absolutely given here because they do not charge an arm and a leg and we would love to come back again! Waffles the donkey is a legend!

We did safari only booked with Viking. We have done 6 other Safaris over the past week or so. They were all great. This was not good at all relative to all the others. Very disappointed.
