We stayed here for one night 11/04/2026 - 12/04/2026 what a beautiful Estate - the hotel rooms are very spacious and so neat. The food was lovely. The service was great. Our booking included breakfast - we were surprised to be charged for the Cappuccino charged separately at breakfast, especially considering the rate we paid for the room of about R 3500. 00 for the night. This was a bit disappointing...

We visited all golf courses around East London last December. Coming from cold European winter, East London looked like golf paradise! All courses are amazing but Olivewood is really stunning and the restaurant serves delicious food. Keep like that South Africa. I promise to be back with more friends

Shocking service at the hotel check in. Very unprofessional behavior. First communication: Spa is fully booked already throughout the stay with no notice or advise. Because we booked thru booking.com we were not on the priority list to ask if we were interested or not. Getting into the room: Sofa bed broken. Booked for 2 rooms with 4 children and rooms was not even next to each other. Check in time 2pm and room was not ready before 4h30 pm. This is just the beginning . Not great wifi connection. Breakfast is equal to 1 star hotel. No buffet but only a choice of few hot meals. Cappuccino not even included. I’ve asked for Avo and Toast and they have charged me extra 25R for Avo. We asked why and they even didn’t know how to answer – just told us that many customers are complaining.  We forgot our key in the bedroom and we went to the reception to ask for a key. No name was asked only room number. What a great interest on safety! Lastly no milk for a tea at the club house because they had a busy day. One of the worse experience ever. Apparently a 4 star hotel run by not trained people where customer experience doesn't exist. Hold on... they have been good in bothering me asking every afternoon if I was going to book a table for dinner. Something that I didn't as I didn't want to ruin also my dinner time.

One of the loveliest golf courses I've ever walked. Its long, and technical, but we came prepared for a hike and absolutely loved walking the back nine alongside the carts of our golf playing companions. Beautiful trees and gardens, gorgeous views and great birding (as opposed to birdying, of which there was none). Immaculate green keeping. The ladies change room is very elegantly decorated. Good art on the walls in the Reception area, and very helpful Reception staff and management. The lunch menu looked good, but the carvery food was cold, due to slow, disjointed service. All in all, a lovely way to spend a Sunday in East London.
