Beautiful, old school hotel with spectacular mountain views all around! Really a stunning stop to make. It gets very cold up there, but they have electric blankets on all the beds. The rooms are not really suitable for long term stays. There are no fridges unless you specifically request one, no cutlery or plates, and no microwave. Only a kettle and mugs for coffee and tea. You have to rely on the hotel for all meals unless you bring your own appliances. You also have to book in advance before you can eat at the hotel. The rooms need some love and attention. They are very basic and outdated, but comfortable for a short stay. Beds are very comfortable. We ran out of water in the middle of a shower in the morning. Apparantly we shared a geyser with the unit next door and there was a limited supply. Ladies at the front desk were friendly and made us feel welcome. We are also grateful to Sibongile for attending to our special requests and the good communication on emails.

Friendly staff, clean, well maintained and really nice scenery and location. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff made us very welcome and were very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was a happy one. We would definitely return.

Great stop for the night, comfy beds and our little dog was welcome. Dinner was tasty.
