Pumba Game Reserve was quite simply the most luxurious safari accommodation we have ever experienced. From the moment our game ranger met us at the gate and welcomed us with drinks, we knew we were in for something special. We booked the all-inclusive package, which offered incredible value, especially with the local resident discount. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the picnic treats during game drives to the exceptional food and service throughout our stay. One of the most magical moments was watching white lions near the fireplace while enjoying dinner – a memory we'll never forget. When we returned to our room that evening, our beds had been turned down, with hot water bottles tucked inside and sweets waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly summed up the experience. This felt like a true 6-star experience in every way. The luxury, hospitality, wildlife encounters, and attention to detail were outstanding. We would highly recommend Pumba to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable safari experience.

Incredible experience! Everything was perfect! The food was amazing, staff super service minded and friendly, the rooms large -beautiful and cozy, the game drives were unbelievable. We saw zebras, elephants, giraffes, hippos (right from our lodge) cheetahs and lots of lions. Cameron our guide was so knowledgeable and so great with our kids too. He had answers to every question and tried his very best to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. The night safari was so special too and stargazing. HIGHLY recommend!

I would like to keep this magical place a secret! It was outstanding in every respect. So luxurious. We saw so many animals. The food and service excellent. It was beyond our expectations. We had some bubbly put in our room for our anniversary with a special message. Pumms was a brilliant ranger and we saw lions, elephants, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, Zebras … . We really regret not staying longer but we will return. A special mention to Noma when we did the community town project 7 fountain tour. What a special lady who is helping to make a difference to her community. The food was outstanding too. It was a struggle leaving.

My partner and I went for a day trip for a half day safari at Pumba. From the moment of our arrival,we we warmly welcomed by Chantelle, who led us to the reception to sign our form and gave us welcome drinks.You could either have a refreshing glass of lemonade or cup of coffee in tea.While waiting for our drive to start,we enjoyed the company of vervet monkeys who were playing outside the reception area. Sopha our guide then arrived with the vehicle.The vehicle was in good condition and we thoroughly enjoyed the off-roading experience! From the moment we when onto the first road we saw an abundance of animals from blue wildebeest to a warthog family ( with mini Pumbas !) to different antelope.Around the second turn we witnessed two young kudu bulls engaging in some fighting which was interesting to see. We were lucky to see so many different animals and while some were hiding,Sopha did a great job in making the effort to go looking for them and providing us with some interesting facts.He has a welcoming personality and great sense of humor,and you can see he has been doing this for years and that he knows how to approach each animal. We were then taken to the Bush lodge for lunch,where we welcome with refreshment towels.We then had a delectable 3 course lunch with our choice of drinks.Everyone at the lodge from our hostess to all the waitresses were so friendly and welcoming. To everyone at Pumba lodge, you are absolute superstars and you have made this a special experience for our first safari as a couple.
