We had a 3 night stay at Eagles Crag and it was truly above anything we could have imagined! 5 star service, luxurious accomodation, delicious fresh food, knowledgeable guides and nature at your door step! The staff of Eagle Crag are second to none and they all go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. We were very blessed to have Bman looking after us and there is nothing that he missed in ensuring we had the best stay. I swear he could read my mind because he seemed to know exactly what I liked! In actual fact it is because his attention to detail is amazing and it does not take him long to work out what each of his guests like. The chefs here are just amazing and you will definitley never be hungry....we are pretty sure we rolled out of there! Every meal is a journey and I was beyond impressed that they could cater for my garlic allergy in every meal. Your room is a spacious cottage with everything you could ask for. You have your own plunge pool , a fully stocked bar fridge and snacks at your fingertips and the most inviting , comfortable furnishings to complete it all. Our safari ranger Frans was outstanding! His knowledge and uncanny ability to spot and track the animals ensured that every drive we did was filled with unbelievable ' wow' moments and fantastic photo opportunities that captured life long memories. If you are looking for a bucketlist safari experience then look no further then Eagle Crag and Shamwari, it will be one you can never forget!

A group of six friends, we spent three unforgettable nights at Eagles Crag at Shamwari Game Reserve at the end of March and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The accommodation was absolutely superb, with exceptional attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. The lodges were luxurious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making Eagles Crag a truly special place to relax between game drives. The food was incredible and the level of service was outstanding. Every member of the team was warm, friendly and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable. A special thank you to Kingston (we love you!), Prudence, Leo, Portia, Keenan, and Frans. Your kindness, professionalism, and personal touches made our trip so special. That said, every member of staff we encountered were amazing and contributed to the wonderful atmosphere. The Shamwari team created memories that our group will cherish for years to come and we cannot thank them enough for such an incredible experience. We left with full hearts and already dreaming of our return.

WOW is the first word that comes to mind. We had an incredible three days here. The reserve is breathtakingly beautiful. The service was amazing and proactive. We stayed at Sindile Lodge and could not have asked for a better experience. Lulu (our butler) and Kim (the lodge manager) went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. Our ranger, Patrick, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, and seemed to have a true passion for conservation and nature. Our safari drives were overwhelmingly incredible. We were able to get so close to so many animals! I highly recommend the walking safari as well. The food was delicious, though I quickly learned it is necessary to carefully pace yourself, as there is certainly no shortage of opportunities to eat! During our first day there, we were impressed enough that we made the decision to return next year, hopefully with a group of friends. Thank you, Shamwari, for an incredible safari experience.

This place is absolutely incredible. The food is the best food I've EVER had hands down. The people are outstanding, the chefs are insane, Dillan or however you spell his name was incredibly good at his job and made the trip with his personality and kindness. If anyone is coming here you better be ready for the best food you've tried! I have a medical condition which I can't have certain foods, however, the catered for me so carefully and professionally i was shocked. It was just absolute perfection. Could I fault the place? NOPE! Very intimate place, the rooms are stunning. The bar is beautiful, Buja was incredible at his job too. 👏🏼 well done Folks!! I will be back! ❤️❤️❤️
