We recently stayed at the Royal St Andrews Hotel while attending a conference, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were impeccable—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. The attention to detail and overall cleanliness were truly top-notch. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a delicious variety of well-prepared food. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. We also spent a lot of time at the Highlander Pub, using it as our base to work from outside the conference sessions. The ambiance was fantastic, the food was consistently excellent, and the service from the staff was warm, professional, and welcoming. It quickly became one of our favourite spots during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Royal St Andrews Hotel—not only as a great place to stay, but also as an exceptional conference venue. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at this wonderful hotel, and it was a truly special experience. The thoughtful touches of flowers, chocolates, and a personalised card made us feel so welcomed and celebrated. We loved staying in the beautiful historic part of the hotel, enjoying a beer at the historic bar, a lovely fine dining experience, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. What stood out most was the warmth and friendliness of the staff, who made every moment memorable. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back on our next trip to Port Alfred. Highly recommended!

I loved this place, it was just what I needed for a small weekend getaway. In my opinion it was the best. Quiet, games room for my kids, spa for me and the husband. Free breakfast included for the adults and a small fee for the kids. The staff are friendly and helpful. Already busy planning my next visit.
