About Chapman Hotel & Conference Centre

Situated on Brookes Hill between King's Beach, the Blue Flag Humewood Beach and the world-renowned water sports mecca of Hobie Beach, The Chapman offers the traveller a blend of well-appointed accommodation and world-class cuisine in a setting reminiscent of lazy summer days of leisure.

Panoramic sea views may be enjoyed from all of The Chapman's en-suite hotel rooms. All rooms are sea-facing with either double or twin beds, and all the rooms are en-suite consisting of a bath, separate shower, hand basin and toilet. Upstairs rooms have sliding doors opening onto their balconies, while the downstairs rooms also have sliding doors which open onto the garden and pool area accentuating our panoramic view of Algoa Bay. Standard Queen Sea-facing Room: This sea-facing en-suite room consists of one double bed with a full private bathroom (with a separate bath and shower). An extra single bed can be added to this room to accommodate a third guest. What a pleasant experience, nice hotel with the perfect sea view , wonderful staff members, very friendly and helpful. Arrived way before my check in time and they welcomed me with warm hands. Checked out way after my check out time and they offered to still keep my luggage safe until I leave. Ohh I really don't have words to explain how happy I am . Looking forward to visit again soon. the staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. the room was very comfortable and clean . the food in Blackbeard Restaurant was probably the most scrumptious I've ever eaten. well done Chapman Hotel you blew my mind . especially your staff .

What a great stay. Sorry that it was only one night. The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly making you feel right at home. The chef knows his stuff and the food was brilliant. Priced well and great value for money.

We had the pleasure of staying one night at The Chapman, Brooke’s Hill, in Humewood, Gqeberha. Great experience; we experienced superb service from Portia at reception. She made us feel welcome and gave us all the information needed for breakfast, wifi and other basics, in a friendly and professional manner. Our room was WONDERFUL! Stunning views of the beachfront and harbour. The birdlife around our balcony was incredible - the minor traffic sounds were trivial compared to the lovely birdsong and bird activity, just an arms length from our balcony. Conveniently close to the airport and great restaurants are just a short walk across the street. (Ocean Basket, Die Kelder, Coachman). Truly a great place to stay and highly recommended - great value and service.
