We got married at Deck on The Hill on 28 February 2026. What an amazing day it was. The ceremony was held in the property and they put up the gazebo, the table for signing and the music set up. Unfortunately but actually fortunately the wind came up and we were able to get beautiful photos taken. The reception area which is held on the deck was beautiful. The team listened to exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly. For food we chose the spit braai, proper South African style. The lamb was amazing and the chicken was so juicy. The side were also great! We also stayed in the accomodation and had so much fun, it was beautiful and one of the best parts was the loving animals. I had a lovely companion the morning of the wedding to calm the nerves and all the love from the doggies. Michelle and George, thank you again for everything ❤️

I would just like to thank George & Michelle from Deck On The Hill for all of there support throughout the planning on our small and special wedding day... What an amazing day we had. From our wedding reception throughout the rest of the evening it was so very special all of the decorations where amazing and it was just what we had in mind. Then I would like to thank you again for the wonderful food we had it was delicious and everything looked amazing... So from myself and Riaan we would like to thank you again for everything. ❤️ We would recommend Deck On The Hill to anyone. 😉

I recently attended a paint and sip at Deck On The Hill with some of my girlfriends and it was such a lovely experience with Michelle at her beautiful studio and venue! We were surrounded by animals, faced a stunning view of sards throughout, and hosted with such care! Thank you Michelle! x We also were provided with the most yummy lasagne after our painting session! I definitely recommend to book an event like this to spend some quality time with your girls!

I recently joined some friends for a paint-and-sip evening at Deck on the Hill, and wow – what a lovely experience! Michelle was such a fantastic host: warm, kind, and welcoming. She guided us through the painting process with ease and treated us to the most delicious lasagne. The views alone are worth the visit, but one of the highlights for me was when her foster kitten, Blue, curled up on my lap while I painted – honestly, too cute for words! I’d highly recommend this experience.
