As a photographer who’s had the privilege of capturing love stories at many venues, Royalston Lakehouse is a standout. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in the natural beauty of the surroundings, calm waters, forest whispers, and golden light that feels like it was made for romance. The Lakehouse itself is both elegant and inviting, offering the perfect balance of comfort and style for intimate weddings and elopements. Every corner feels intentional, from the soft reflections over the water at sunset to the gentle hush that settles in the trees at dusk. I’m always seeking spaces that allow love to breathe and story to unfold in this space is just that. A dream backdrop for soulful storytelling and cinematic imagery. Truly a gem in the Eastern Cape.
