About SEA OTTER LODGE

Enjoy peace and tranquillity at Sea Otters Lodge whilst listening to the breaking waves.

All bedrooms are sea facing with sea views with direct access to the beach from the Guest Country House. Sea Otters Lodge offers sea and beachfront accommodation with direct access onto the beach in Kini Bay. All the bedrooms are en suite and equipped with ceiling fan, heating, guest amenities, laptop digital safe, emergency light, DSTV Stay Essential Package, coffee and tea making facilities. The en suites are equipped with heating and bathroom amenities. There are six en-suite bedrooms available for guests that can accommodate up to a maximum of 15 persons for overnight accommodation. Enjoy reading a book in one of the two lounges or take a stroll along the beach while gathering some pebbles. From the deck, while enjoying a refreshing drink, you can see the dolphins surfing the waves and the whales play with their calves and perhaps you are lucky enough to see the sea otter family playing on the beach. Sea Otters Lodge is fully licensed and offers optional served English Breakfast, subject to service availability. No breakfast service available on Sundays and Public Holidays unless otherwise noted or agreed

Bed Linen smelt moldy, Bathroom was not hygienic, toilet seat was rotten (wood rot), shower was not clean, ants in the room. Unable to order breakfast the night before. No WiFi network in the bedroom. Bin was rusted, shower soap holder was rusted. shower was a sprinkle. Paid for 3 nights, check out after night one, refused to refund in-full for the remining 2 nights. Could not get dinner at 19h50. Shocking experience to say the least. Not what was advertised.

Attended a year end function at Sea Otters Lodge. The staff and manager were very friendly. The view and place itself is so beautiful. Wished I could have spent more time there and gotten to walk on the beach. Definitely worth the drive there

What a surprise ....this place is a gem... To be so close to the sea is just fantastic. We were lucky enough to see dolphins 3 mornings in a row while we were having breakfast. Will recommend Sea Otters Lodge should you plan a trip in Port Elizabeth.

They applied covid protocols strictly so we felt safe. Service was a bit slow because of the long distance swimming competition on the go. Food was excellent. I ate on the doggy bag pasta for 2 days
