PSJ River Lodge is brilliantly located right on the south bank of the beautiful Umzimvubu River with stunning views of the river and surrounding majestic cliffs. The rooms are neat and clean and marvelously air conditioned. The lady at reception though was not very friendly in helping us address a booking issue, and the pool, sadly was completely green and unusable ( on a scorching hot afternoon) but these did not spoil an otherwise wonderful stay.

it's a great place to spend quality time with your family especially on the 1st of January ,it's like a festival .👌🏾

This is Regarding The Restaurant. We booked in at Spotted Grunter and did not sleep at River Lodge... River Lodge owns the Restaurant and Bar. Ordered our dinner at 18h30, recieved it @ 19h50. We asked more then once when our food will be ready, and the waiters just say " I'll go and ask in the kitchen" with an attitude. I still had to pay extra R35 for my drink but the bill was already paid for by our company. When we actually got there, there was a guy there since 17h30 waiting for his food and he received it after 20h00. Not sure what is going on here but the service is pathetic.

There’s a lady by the name of Chelsey who was so unfortunate to us by the bar. We had asked if we can enter the bar area with our own bottle and she said it’s R50 per cup, meaning R100 for two people for their cups. We later found out there’s no such, but she was rude for no absolute reason
