Matola Game Reserve – Exceptional Experience We spent a weekend in the suites at Matola Game Reserve, and it was truly unforgettable. Theon was an unbelievable host — incredibly engaging, warm, and a fantastic guide. The views are extraordinary, and the bushveld and vegetation are absolutely beautiful, with an incredible amount of game all around. The birdlife was also incredible, especially this time of year with all the migrant species — it added so much to the overall experience. The food was fantastic (and plentiful!), and every member of the team was friendly, attentive and encouraging. The whole environment is peaceful and relaxing — perfect for couples wanting a quiet getaway or for families looking for a memorable weekend. The venue itself is stunning and would be ideal for weddings, parties, or any special function. We loved every minute and can’t recommend Matola highly enough.

The whole experience were amazing. Rooms really nice. Bathroom at the shed rooms a tight fit for big person but even the thin one complained. But then if you a couple you most probably would not close the bathroom door so should be fine. The beds were great nice and firm. Everything was spotless. The venue is just next level and the service amazing. The food were top notch very tasty and presentation really good. Staff go around quietly setting tables etc. The bathrooms were kept dtocked and clean all the time. It is beautiful around there and i would really recommend it

What a great experience. The staff and accommodation is great. The food was divine, the venue excellent. We had a great game drive aswell. I will really recommend a visit and stay at Matola. The peace and silence is amazing.
