OUR DREAM WEDDING - Last week, we had the incredible privilege of celebrating our wedding at Dune Ridge Country House, and it exceeded all our expectations! From our first visit in April, we felt an instant connection. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and stunning surroundings made it clear this was the perfect venue for our special day with family and friends. A huge thank you to Tam, Sarah, and the entire team for creating a magical wedding weekend for us. The friendly and attentive staff made everyone feel at home, which added to the overall experience. The planning was remarkably smooth and stress-free, a blessing for our 'local' destination wedding. Now, let’s talk about the food! The culinary experience was extraordinary. Every dish was a delightful masterpiece, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. It’s been ages since we’ve enjoyed meals this amazing! The enchanting atmosphere and beautifully decorated spaces perfectly complemented our celebration. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with breathtaking ambiance, outstanding food, and a dedicated staff, we can’t recommend Dune Ridge Country House enough. This is an exceptional country house: authentically traditional, colonial styled oasis in St Francis. From the moment I enquired about the spa treatments I knew this would be a special place - I was told that if there was anything I'd like that was not on the spa list, I must simply say so - Such an accommodating approach So unlike most establishments which won't budge an inch to make your stay more personal. Upon arrival I was taken great care of, and this persisted until I left. What a fantastic staff complement, beautiful establishment and overall lovely stay. I will recommend this place to many people, it is a true country gem. The food is tailored to preference, absolutely delicious and the cook took extra care to make exactly what I preferred, going above and beyond to deliver tasty, homemade meals each day. The greens, herbs and tomatoes from their own garden were so lovely. The home made rusks in the room, the fresh plants in water vases in the bedroom and bathroom, the handmade bath salts are all touches that elevate this experience to a five-star. Can't wait to return.
