Just the most amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere. Pristine. Beautiful. Dinner roast lamb was incredible, Follies show was absolutely spectacular, the outfits stunning, music emotional, and the hosts so friendly, talkative and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough.

Steytlerville is a nice, neat town, at the entrance of the Baviaans. The Karroo Theatrical hotel: great hospitality, good food and friendliness. The hotel rooms are in need of a bit of maintenance. The show was good. The musicality of Mark is very good and the costumes and Jacques's performance entertaining. However, we as a family (with our 3 adult children), did not appreciate the age restricted parts and some partial nudity in the show. We were NOT warned about this beforehand. We would then not have booked.... Certain parts of the show was not to our taste and I think not everyone's cup of tea. The hotel, however is a nice stayover, with very friendly hosts and good food!

We had a wonderful weekend stay with a group of friends. It was well worth the drive. The karoo is beautiful. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The hosts Mark and Jacques are wonderful and the show that they put on is absolutely fantastic. Well done!

Absolutely amazing experience. A must do bucket list item. Mark & Jaques are the perfect hosts. Feels like you've known them for years. Fantastic show. Great meals. Friendly staff. Décor eclectic & interesting.
