What does one say about a place so amazing ? The people , the food, the vibe , the horses, just everything ! Our family has been coming to Blanco for over 70 years and if we can will be for another 70 . It is the one break in ones life that everyone needs , no making food, no entertaining the kids , just relaxing and enjoying good company and an amazing setting . Well done to Chris, Kim, Gert, Cheryl, Allan, Micala and all the staff at Blanco including "Dumpie" for making Blanco what it is . I wish that my children's children one day also get to experience what we have been privileged to experience year after year . Thank you for all the great memories .

Blanco has been my little slice of heaven for over 40 years. Freedom to run wild as a child (and teenager!) making lifelong friendships where we all now bring our own children to experience that very same freedom and joy, year after year. You know those stories you tell your kids of back in the day when you would build forts with your friends and ride your bike until after dark, only coming home for meal times? Blanco is one of the few places in this world where that still exists. There is no better gift to your children. The breathtaking surroundings, big skies, majestic mountains, electrifying thunderstorms, crisp clean air tell ancient stories of a sacred place. Plenty to keep you busy (if that’s what you like) or utter peace and tranquility. No places to be, beds to make, shopping to be done, meals to be cooked or dishes to be washed. Just presence, a true holiday for everyone. I wouldn’t trade a 5 star soulless hotel room for a Blanco cottage that has been loved for generations any day of the week.

We have had the most wonderful, happy, fun times at Blanco over the last 35 years. Our children now bring their children to Blanco, because of the wonderful experiences they have had there. The rooms are comfy, the food is delicious and the entertainment is never ending. We have forged wonderful friendships and as we depart each year our hearts are filled to the brim. We all count the months and sleeps until our next visit. The Blanco family and staff are friendly, helpful, warm and simply delightful. Jorn and Sue Woker
