Great location for a stopover. It’s the kind of bush experience we wanted but somehow the place did not meet our expectations. It’s on a farm and the campsite is kind of in the middle of the farm. The campsite is not well maintained although we had power and a trickle of water. Ablutions are not great. We did not use the ablutions. A bit run down and tired although they were reasonably clean. The walkways between sites and to the ablutions were overgrown. The site is not a train smash but there are a lot of small things wrong which add up to an average experience. I would still use it as an overnight if necessary but for the price it’s overvalued.

An absolute gem of a farm stay over outside of Willowmore, Eastern Cape. The cottage was spotlesslly clean. A very cozy place ideal for a weekend getaway.

Genuine hospitality and the authenticity of a farming family. Despite rough, sun-scorched land and little shade, our hosts welcomed us warmly and allowed us to discover a magnificent landscape. A very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed a fantastic overnight stay. Our cottage was pleasently decorated, spacious and well equiped. Meal of the day was very nice and great value. Nothing fancy but tasty home style food. Friendy service. Quiet. Can highly recommend both the accommodation and the meal.
