We were a group of 12 persons in June on a cold winter weekend. Great decor and great location but the Hot Water system is inadequate. We complained after day 1. The staff said it was a minor issue and was fixed. This was not true! Most of the guests had to take a cold shower the entire weekend.

I was there for Labyrinth Day, an excellent event held at a remarkable venue. Beautiful views, lovely setting, great service. A little off the beaten track but a gem when you get there.

We stayed over for one night as a group of 16, and what an incredible experience it was! From start to finish, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the sunset booze cruise—it was absolutely magical. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while enjoying drinks and great company was unforgettable. Another standout experience was mixing our own cocktails in the distillery. It was such a fun, interactive activity. Definitely a unique touch that we all enjoyed! A special mention must go to the new and improved road access. We noticed they had received previous complaints about the roads, but that is clearly a thing of the past. The roads have been redone, and you now have direct access from the main road. It’s a good, smooth drive and getting to Rnew was easy and hassle-free. Thank you John and your amazing team for hosting us and for creating such a memorable experience. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique getaway filled with fun and relaxation. We’ll definitely be back!

Spent two nights for a work conference. The rooms are very clean, good food and overall great venue to cater for big events or just a quick relaxing getaway. The gin distillery is a fun group activity.
