Interesting setup, with some minor improvements. Good morning, friendly team🫡! My wife had a tyre issue, which meant I had to take her to the accommodation. We ended up paying for me to stay overnight. We woke up to a sparkling clean car — such a wonderful gesture. The on-site team really makes this a place worth considering.😎

Cranberry cottage is not bad tbh, the staff is nice and offers really good service, the front desk officer offered breakfast on the house for the discomfort and didn't charge extra for the extra guest. The ambiance is so warm and fuzzy, like literally, they have a fireplace in the middle of the dining room, the food, amazing. Would totally recommend this place for business and/or pleasure.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Cranberry Ladybrand. The level of service is very, very bad, and unfortunately this is not just a once-off issue. On a previous visit, I ordered milkshakes and the cream that was used was clearly sour. This is completely unacceptable when serving food and drinks to customers. It raises serious concerns about hygiene, freshness, and overall quality control. Serving spoiled ingredients is not only unpleasant but could also make someone seriously ill. On top of that, the service itself was slow, unprofessional, and careless. There was no sense of urgency, no proper customer care, and no effort made to ensure that the order was correct or that customers were satisfied. It honestly felt like customer experience is not a priority at all. When you pay for food and drinks, you expect a certain standard — fresh ingredients, basic hygiene, and respectful service. Sadly, Cranberry Ladybrand fails on all of these. Instead of enjoying the experience, it was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this place unless major improvements are made in both service and quality control. Customers deserve much better than this.

I recently stayed at this guest house and had a mixed experience that unfortunately leaned more negative despite a few highlights. On the positive side, the reception staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming, setting a warm tone on arrival. The spa treatment was excellent and did a lot to make up for the less pleasant aspects of my stay. The property itself is in a beautiful location with lush gardens and plenty of greenery, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The common spaces are also well maintained and enjoyable to spend time in. However, several negative experiences left a lasting impression. The service from the restaurant staff was consistently disappointing. They did not greet guests, lacked warmth, and displayed unprofessional behaviour throughout my stay. Basic room amenities were also not properly maintained — towels were not replaced, the in-room coffee was not replenished, and even toilet paper was not restocked without having to ask. At the restaurant, table essentials such as salt, butter, and sugar were often missing, and I had to request them after my meal had already been served. Overall, while the setting and reception team were lovely, the service inconsistencies and lack of attention to basic guest needs made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. With improvements in staff training and room servicing, this guest house has the potential to offer a truly wonderful stay.
