About Doringbos Lodge & Venue

Doringbos Lodge is a privately owned venue located on Rietpoort Farm, a mere 5 km outside of the quaint town of Parys.

Nestled in the heart of the historic Vredefort Dome, the venue is surrounded by stunning nature and an abundance of game, including Zebra, Giraffe, Black Wildebeest, etc. The venue offers a newly built wedding hall with a modern industrial touch, along with five well-equipped self-catering chalet units that can accommodate up to six persons per unit. Additionally, there is a secluded honeymoon unit available that offers breathtaking views of the farm, as well as a beautifully renovated three-bedroom old farmhouse with a veranda that overlooks the farm and the roaming game.
