We spent the night at the farm. Kate was so welcoming and greeted us with a vase of flowers. The evening meal was outstanding as were the morning crumpets. Overall a great place to stay. Thank you to Kate and her team for an amazing night.

Thank you for accommodating us on short notice Kate. The lamb curry last night were divine! Beds and linen are high quality comfort. Amenities were excellent. Woolies soap. Fresh farm milk. Plenty of it. Good quality instant and plunger coffee! The view outside. The garden. One of my favorite stops.

An amazing overnight stopover en route to Johannesburg. Exceptionally quiet, with nature gently waking you up in the morning. Stargazing from the window at night is an added bonus. Breakfast is lovely, especially the fresh scones. Everything is super organised and spotless. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a halfway stop between JHB and Garden Route and Hillside Farm is perfect. Great rooms, views and environment, friendly professional service. Oh and the lamb curry after a long drive is brilliant. We will return!
