Relaxed experience. A place to bring your kids, where a playground and multiple braai areas are available, with trails around the dam. But I have to say the place is not kept well and from when I last visited but regardless the scenery with the ducks and geese feeding was beautiful to see.

The park is attractive. Relaxing. And the greenery everywhere is amazing. I like it. Though, the restrooms seem to have no maintaining. Nonetheless, the park is free-entry. And it's a great spot for a family day out - with braai stands available; a kiddies play area; some benches to watch over the dam; and walkways for a casual stroll.

It helped me slow down, clear my mind, and find a little peace in the middle of a busy day. The gentle, soothing effect made it easy to unwind without feeling overwhelmed. The restaurants are closed... plenty litter, unpleasant smell around the water. The bathrooms are disgusting. Surprisingly the kids play area still looks pretty good.
