I was there for the past two weeks. Terrible experience. Hygiene is a problem. No trays for carrying food, no apron, hair not covered. You have to be presentable when catering food. The pets come and go as they please in the dining area. It was horrible. Dogs roaming around freely, they not bothered whether guests are at ease or not. I felt belittled as if payment was not made. Our organisation should definitely remove this Bnb from the database. Will not recommend it to anyone!

This is a comment from the SA Navy crew, we were at Oppie stoep from the 23 June to 05 July 2019..We can never ever recommend anyone to book at Oppie stoep.....They treat guest like a piece of nothing. I've never been so ill treated in my life. We have been booking or staying at Hotels, BnB and Guest houses and never have seen this treatment like this before. Johan I am not going to lie and pretend to you but you cannot serve guest breakfast by holding plates with your bare hands, don't you have trays??And if your sister keeps on preparing breakfast for guests with that dirty top that is full of dogs fluffs and long hair rooming around our food, your place will have to be closed down. Hygiene was not up to standard...Your dog's are rooming around while we eating and sleeping where we eat, where is hygiene the????? Dstv was forever not working...You made us to shower with cold water for 2days, never bothered to sort the problem out. On Friday when we left you spoke to me as if I was a piece of nothing, was because you got ure money and ure guest do not matter???? The four of us we work at HR and we going to report the treatment we received from you to our SA Navy Admiral....Will request that your Guest house be removed from our data base.. We don't deserve your hospitality and while your fixing your hygen issues..Actually you don't deserve a star....
