The coffee shop is quite basic, and the atmosphere could be improved. It would also help if brown bread was available as an option and if the menu was presented in English for accessibility.

Beautiful here, clean, open, well taken care of

First visit to the SAX Theatre in Southdowns, Centurion to watch a local production of Beauty and the Beast, and a pleasant surprise it was. Very high level of security via digital access control manmed by two polite officers, so one could relax and enjoy the safe environment within the multi- use complex. Adequate parking, with beautifully laid out and treed paved entrance from the parking lot, although one should be aware of a low overhead branch or two, as well as the steep ramps in the walkway The SAX Theatre itself was delightful, with a stepped apron leading up to the large main stage, and the production of Beauty and the Beast made good use of the steps. Loved the stage lighting throughout the production, and the sound and acoustics were good. Very useful foyer where patrons could mill around and meet the cast for fotos and autographs. Tuck shop was welcome, especially the courteous ladies behind the counter. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening out before winter sets in.

I went to watch a show on 18 April 2024 which was phenomenal. It was unfortunate that the sound during the musical was unreliable. It was such a let down for such a beautiful show.
