An absolute pity. the venue is very original, but the maintenance is extremely poor. Bathrooms are not clean, the bedding is disgusting, the shower is not worth risking, the quad bikes are not maintained - most have serious issues. The pricing on the website differs from quotes. The place could be amazing, but the owner really just wants your money with very very little effort to maintain anything. Best to find another place until they start to care again.

It was a unique and rustic experience to sleep in the old train carriages from the early 1900s. I highly recommend it for campers. They also offer quad bikes, horse rides and braai facilities. Great experience for family and friends.

Lovely place to have a bachelor party. Very interesting to have the accommodation in a train. Staff was friendly. Loads of other activities on offer as well like quad biking or horseback riding. The food they provided was good. The accommodation needs a bit of an upgrade but the beds sleep well! Other areas also need some maintenance. They do provide a big stock pile of wood for the boma fire which is where we spend most of our time and loved it! They got ample seating and sleeping available.

Excellent people, excellent staff, excellent experience. The horseback riding was fun even for a complete novice. It felt safe and the landscape is beautiful. They split the group in two half way so that those that feel comfortable could gallop with the horses while the more reserved kept walking. The archery and air rifle was ok. It was a nice break in pace for the day but would not come here to do just that. For lunch they provided meat and a braai so you could do it yourself. And you can bring your own drinks. It was very relaxing. The quad biking was on a whole other level. It was long and exciting. The girl that took us out gauged our experience perfectly and provided a very satisfying route and pace. We spent the whole day at this place and it has been one of the most enjoyable days of the year so far. Highly recommended.
