Staff tried, power went off a lot. The place has great potential but maintenance is almost non existent so it is very run down for its age. Bed was comfortable and the gardens were well kept.

Beautiful Hotel. Can't complain. The only problem is their food. During my 2nd visit the chef gave me steak that was not defrosted properly . My 3rd visit I tried pork chops and it was very tough to eet. Today they gave me leftovers of the conference they had to cater for the afternoon . I only had 3 very, very small pieces of beef in my plate with just sauce and rice. I complained and the waiter came back with a messy plate. You could see that the last bits was poured onto my plate. They use to have a menu. Today I was told that none of the items on the menu was available. Just pork or lamb chops en chips. What kind of restaurant is this? Very disappointed. Rather go and eat somewhere else please.

Beautiful room, however requires some maintenance. No dinner was available although advertised as such. Breakfast was available but not as prescribed times. Otherwise a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere and good get away.

Does not even deserve 1 star. We are in 'Luxury 5', furthest from luxury as could be. Shower is out of order, out of 8 lights in the ceiling only 2 are working, the Aircon is broken and showing error E2, the plug by the kettle does not work so cannot make any coffee, there is no milk for coffee. I am sharing a twin room and only one bath towel has been provided. The bed sheets are dirty and stained. Toilet roll holder in the bathroom is broken and no one has bothered to replace. I am here with a group of 15 + people who have similar complaints even some with no hot water. I would not recommend that anyone stays here, plenty of better options in Joberg. WiFi is not working. Staff are doing nothing to resolve anything or any guests concerns
