You can feel the love and care that went into creating every single space in Schoon Huis and the surrounding gardens. I adored all the family photos and meeting grandfather Schoon was a highlight for me. The service was spectacular, can't rate it highly enough. Even after our booking was accidentally cancelled by the third party we were treated with warmth and kindness and a solution quickly sorted. The room we stayed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. Cannot rate the overall visage or customer service highly enough. 1000/10

I had to pick up a client early morning for his flight ✈️ back, what I saw is an ancient house with 6 rooms available guest house old fashioned type & the pool outside area very cozy with trees & plants around the house. Haven't eaten or stayed here but ideal for overseas guests. The caretaker guy was also very friendly & briefed me on the history of the guest house while I waited for my client.

Beautiful premises, clean and well-kept. Very cosy room (Dominique) with a hot shower that had good pressure. Super clean, great smelling sheets and towels. Amenities available e.g. hair dryer, toiletries, slippers, bathrobe, as well as his and hers sitting chairs and ample space for our two large luggages. Overall, the space and room were exactly like what we'd seen in the photos at booking. Service was very hospitable, from the guy (aptly named Alfred) to the guesthouse owner. Note that the noise from departing aircraft can be heard, so bring a pair of earplugs to help with your sleep.

Excellent place to stay close to the airport. The rooms and decor are very British inspired and very cool to stay in. The location and cleanliness is great I would also like to say a special thank you to Alfred who is an excellent manager of the property. Very helpful and nice guy who made sure we were picked up and dropped at the airport , sorted an early breakfast for us and making sure we were looked after.
