Food terrible. Venue is beautiful. Toilets are clean. Came for an impromptu Sunday lunch. Calamari starter was normal frozen rings. Kiddies 'cheesy chicken nuggets' were also normal frozen nuggets. And mushroom phyllo parcel was is thick uncooked dough balls.

Had a lovely lunch in beautiful surroundings. We received such a warm, friendly welcome at the gate and the guy escorted us to the restaurant when we got confused as to where to go. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. Great place to eat and relax

This was a great place to stay, now it the worst place to stay due to there is never shower gel where you would have received it at any other boutique hotel, you don't have any evening restaurant or place to eat on premises and they want to charge you 700 rand per hour to run there generator for you to keep LED lights on. I'm sorry to say that such a nice place could drop so low. Here I'm standing 23:30 to get into contact with my family and I have to stand outside ind the cold in the parking lot to make contact or otherwise I have to pay 700 rand per hour for them to run there generator so that I can have Internet connection to talk to my family. I would probably not even have made this comment if I could have used my own data to make my connection but I can not even so that unless I'm standing in the parking lot. Worst place ever. I would never recommend it to anyone and sorry for the people working here as they can only do so much

We went to the restaurant. They have an amazing garden and we were assisted by Frans who was a wonderful host. The gentleman at the gate was so friendly and even on our way out asked whether we enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend this place. The menu didn't have vegan and gluten-free options but they were so willing to make adaptations for us. Some things were completely off the menu. The prices allow you to come for 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. They're that affordable. We were just driving from Sterkfontein and looking for any place to eat, next time I'm coming out specifically for this place.
