This is a little slice of heaven found only 40 mins from Johannesburg, nestled deep into the bush and situated right on the crocodile river. The decor of the main dining area and the rooms is insane! A feast for my eyes. The service was wonderful and the chef who also doubles as a masseur, deserves a Michelin star 🌟 on her own! The food is sublime! The fact you can swim with the Otters in summer is a treat on its own as well as the equine healing and the beautiful horses 🐎 kept on the property. I highly recommend the picnic in your room, an insane dining experience and a 7 course picnic 😄 if not more! This was a surprise for my 60th and it was the treats of all treats. Its a very romantic getaway that even offers 'elopements', weddings and small corporate functions. Thank you Lethabo Estate for a weekend I will cherish always. ❤️

Took my girlfriend to Lethabo Estate for their 'Experience Love through the Elements' Valentines dinner , it was absolutely amazing! We spent a few hours enjoying the elements while we ate delicious food alongside the river. The entire experience was amazing from when we arrived until we left few hours later. Cannot wait to go back there.

What a lovely location. Right on the riverbank the coziest cottage. A personal touch was seen everywhere. Treated like royals, our own picnic dinner right on the riverbank with a fire and cozy blanks. Sherry, sparkling wine, rose petals, outside shower, jacuzzi bath I can go on and on. The view from the main lodge deck is spectacular to say the least. Our farm style breakfast overlooking the river was more than just farm style. The walk through the organic labyrinth was a sense experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is such a special place in so many ways. We will be back very very soon. Thanks Lisa

Our Valentine’s Day at Lethabo Estate was nothing short of magical. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were surrounded by peaceful natural beauty and welcomed by the warmest, friendliest staff. The breathtaking setting next to the Crocodile River — with a gentle drop in the river creating the most soothing waterfall-like sounds — made the atmosphere incredibly romantic. We were escorted to a private riverside table beautifully decorated with rose petals and elegant place settings, where we enjoyed a delicious starter, breakfast main, and indulgent dessert. Just steps away was a charming grass hut with a beautifully prepared bed for us to relax and take in the stunning view together. Every detail felt like a dream and we would absolutely recommend this unforgettable experience — we can’t wait to return. ❤️
