Such a beautiful venue but the lack of professionalism is baffling. They really struggle with communication in general and just being clear on changes and updates. You’ll end up chasing them for the refund of your deposit, random cost pop up that weren’t previously shared with you in detail so the refund is less than previously communicated. Despite the unpleasant experience of having to deal with them, Nonnie was the only one who responded rapidly and did her best in providing clarification when needed. I do appreciate her service. In conclusion beautiful venue, not so great service (don’t bother asking for the GM he will just ignore you)

WARNING - DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE FOR ANY EVENT!!! Absolutely pathetic service. If I could give it a lower rating, I would! We hosted a wedding here this weekend and the customer service, experience and quality that we received were nothing short of shocking. None of the staff know what is going and continue to use the excuse "I'm new here". The management are even worse. We booked accommodation at the venue back in February only to find out one week before the wedding that the rooms had not been reserved and that they had been given to someone else.

Terrible venue, I will never recommend it to anyone specially on events like weddings. We paid so much to receive poor service. We knew from the start (November 2022) when we met the staff from the venue that there was no structure in place compared to other venues and we hoped that they would have improved by the time of our wedding (August 2023) , but that was the biggest mistake of our lives. We paid overall close to R100k which was only for the venue (reception and blessing area), 4 waiters, 3 ushers,… by the way that amount excludes chairs, tables, cutleries… On the day of the wedding only one usher pitched and that created chaos at our reception cuz people didn’t know where to seat and on top of that we had to pay an extra R4900 for an additional table which resulted from the poor service level. We asked at least be refunded for the two ushers that didn’t pitch cuz we paid R1200 per ushers… and till today we are being ignored. The wedding coordinator (or facilitator as she called herself )from the venue who was supposed to be present from morning only pitched at 10pm … Some rooms didn’t have to towels , other no bed cover and the price was ‘R970 room for two and on top of that cold water, no wifi. We tried to explain to the owner who was not present on the day , our bad experience to help him see where he can improve and to get refunded where possible . He apologised but then what ???Ignored the refund of service that was not rendered . 👎👎👎👎👎 Picture of a R1600 room with basically no TV.

It was so beautiful, and it was very clean, but the security is poor. When we were going in the security guards were playing with literal guns. Actual guns. And then one of them accidentally fired it and it luckily hit the floor and no one was hurt. But where were kids running around and someone could have been seriously hurt.
