[Saturday, 30 August 2025] Malondie Spring/Summer 2025 Launch ✨ On a weekend when we weren’t booked (a huge thank you to our closest special person ❤️ for the extra ticket), we somehow ended up working. Not in the official sense, but in the way creatives can’t help but observe, study, and document the flow of an event. The last time we attended a fashion show was before the COVID pandemic, so this felt like a real treat. A reminder of how much the creative industry has endured, evolved, and blossomed again. It’s fascinating to watch how other event teams move — the rhythm, the timing, the subtle cues that make everything come together. Despite a late start (for good reasons), what stood out most was the calmness and composure of the production team. No panic. No chaos. Just quiet confidence. A large, capable crew running like clockwork. Truly inspiring to witness. And then came the bonus highlight: a sit-down, a very brief yet impactful conversation with the award-winning Fashion Designer & Founder, Mrs Londeka Buthelezi Ndaba. It may look like a nice venue, but as a Glenferness resident I need to be clear: Pere House is showing blatant disregard for its neighbours. Every weekend, from Friday to Sunday, the noise is so excessive that the walls of my home literally vibrate and my baby cannot sleep. This is an agricultural zone, not a commercial party venue, and the level of disturbance is completely unacceptable. The people and animals who live here deserve basic respect. This needs to change.

We tried to book this venue for a large festival we are hosting in Spring, and I'm absolutely sad and shocked at the horrific customer service we just experienced. On to the next venue it seems.

Awful customer service, it has been more than 36 days since we have been waiting for payment of our refundable deposit. The lady on whatsapp isn't helpful at all and gives vague responses. Poor customer service!!!!!!!! Horrible
