Booked a couples spa date and I must say I was highly impressed. From the security guard when we arrived at the gate, the receptionist and our two lovely masseuse ladies (Tumelo and Precious). Everyone was friendly and everywhere you would go someone would be greeting you with a wonderful smile. The Cielo staff was also amazing… we were served by a wonderful lady called Lebogang. She would explain everything to us and even went over and beyond. Definitely coming back.

The location and views at Avianto has always been great. Decided to go have lunch at Cielo after some time of not going and it was a bit of a let down. I had booked on Dineplan - to my suprised they wanted a R150 deposit - which is strange since it wasn’t an event day (like a Sunday buffet) and it was considerably empty but paid anyway. Two of the drinks I wanted they did not have, everytime I asked the waiter a question, the answer was was I don’t know. Not sure if she was training but she didn’t disclaim as such so I won’t assume. The lamb was slightly salty but not inedible. When I got the bill, I was charged in full, I had to raise that I had pre-paid online. In general is a “okay” but seems lacking in service and attention to detail.

Can't comment on the rooms per se. The dining halls, church however are exquisite. Staff are professional. Attended a wedding and I cannot think of a better venue for weddings. It was designed with much intentionality. One stop shop for weddings for sure. The meat was so prepared so well. Considering they cook for masses of people this is incredible and not easily achieved. If you can afford it (yes, not cheap) but want class, excellence and an unforgettable venue experience, look no further.

Today we celebrated my birthday here. Me and my husband were here for lunch and food was very delicious. We ordered Chicken burger, butternut soup, veg mushroom dish and cheese cake. All was good and even the ambience is beautiful. Surely will be visiting again.
