The serenity at the lodge embodied by water, as the lodge, comprising of 60 suites, overlooking six exquisite fly-fishing dams and the lower reaches of the Blaauwbank Spruit, as it meanders through the unspoilt Zwartkops gorge. The dramatic scenery, natural vegetation and the abundant wildlife set the mood for a memorable event or function. Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa is ideal for either the business traveller or leisure guest. Allow the highly trained and experienced staff to take care of all the details to ensure a stress free event. Naturally, the lodge features all the facilities you could want to make your stay particularly rewarding, including an excellent Spa for relaxation and fly-fishing facilities. Wedding site inspections: We would love to show you all the beautiful wedding venues and ask if you could let the wedding co-ordinator know in advance should you wish to view the venues over a weekend. Regrettably we cannot do any site inspections after 13h00 as the wedding venues are in use.

Had a really lovely stay for one night. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. The property and room was incredibly clean. Was able to see the sunrise over the lake, absolutely stunning. Love the quality feel and attention to detail overall. There are a lot of positives, too many to mention. Will be back.

What a wonderful stay at Kloofzicht! The hiking trail is not too challenging, especially if you stick to the flatter routes rather than heading up into the mountains. We chose the easier trails and were rewarded with incredible wildlife sightings, including warthogs, giraffes, zebras, and plenty of antelope. If you’re up early, you can also spot hot air balloons from AirVentures drifting across the sky—truly a magical sight. The executive suite was spacious and comfortable, the staff were warm and friendly, and the food was absolutely outstanding. We also enjoyed a full body massage and a Rasul treatment at the spa—both were absolutely amazing and added to the overall relaxing experience. It was an unforgettable stay from start to finish.

We visited Kloofzicht for a hike and this place is gorgeous, clean, tarred road driving in (big plus), serene and breathtaking surroundings and views. The hiking trail is excellent, no markings but you won't get lost and you can add as much distance as you wish. The hotel is immaculate, staff are friendly, amazing and accommodating. Will definitely book accommodation next time.
