Tres Jolie is a country wedding venue situated on 5 hectare estate in Ruimsig, Gauteng.
The venue is accessible to all major centres of the region and the tranquil estate offers the bride and groom an ideal location for their wedding day. Characterised by exquisite gardens and landscaped with fountains and water features this picturesque wedding venue offers a unique blend of African colonial architecture and European country living.
The estate offers a chapel and 3 venues depending on the couples requirements.
## Chapel
The stone chapel was built to add character and natural beauty offering an old style country church appeal that is both rustic and elegant. In keeping with the rest of the estate, the chapel features wrought iron chandeliers and balustrades, railway sleeper doors with small arch windows to complete the design.
The chapel is ideal for between 60 and 150 guests but can be configured to seat up to 250 people. The chapel and red carpet are included in the venue hire.
## Garden Ceremony
Many people dream of getting married in the tranquillity of nature, under big trees and blue skies. The gardens of Trés Jolie are perfect for an outdoor ceremony; an outdoor chapel nestles in between flowerbeds with a red carpet and a canopy draped with metres of white chiffon creating a nostalgic and elegant picture.
There is no additional cost should you opt for a garden chapel and our indoor chapel is always available in case of inclement weather.
## Fountain Court
Wrought iron balconies frame massive railway sleeper doors through which guests enter into this baronial hall. Chandeliers hang from exposed beams and a huge fireplace determines a character of understated elegance in a space that has been designed to accommodate 80 guests or extend its functionality to accommodate 250 guests.
The design combines extensive use of wood, massive gum pole rafters, a red corrugated iron roof, wrought iron balconies and balustrades, carefully coloured and sealed cement floors, finished with clad rock to the base of the building and the entrance steps. What really makes Fountain Court special it that even though it is enclosed there is an abundance of windows, which provide the feeling of the outdoors integrating seamlessly with the interior.
## Courtyard
This intimate venue is beautiful with its exposed beams, antique paint effects, wrought iron candle chandeliers and rock clad fireplace accommodating up to 80 guests with a dance floor or 90 guests without, is the perfect place for an intimate wedding with the private walled courtyard adjoining the venue! Aptly named, The Courtyard was purpose built to ensure smaller wedding parties could enjoy a cosy ambiance without feeling overwhelmed by the larger rooms.
## The Dining Room
This semi private dining room is situated just off the main restaurant and is ideal for a small intimate wedding. This venue which can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests. Large windows overlooking the garden ensure a fresh indoor, outdoor feel.
## Flowers & Decor
Flowers and décor is often one of the most expensive and stressful aspects of planning a wedding. Trés Jolie offers a OPTIONAL fully co-ordinated, one stop-shop décor and flower service. Our experienced coordinators will assist you with ideas or turning your ideas into reality, the selection of appropriate flowers and other décor items within your budget.
A stunning wedding need not cost the earth. The cost of the flowers and décor includes the co-ordination and the services of an in house florist. There is a large stock of décor items, table clothes, under plates, table runners, candelabra and overlays to choose from which makes the job of decorating any of the venues on the estate very easy.
## Bridal Suites
Tres Jolie boasts two bridal suites romantically furnished in colonial style. A suite is included in the venue hire for the bride and groom to celebrate their first married night together before enjoying a complimentary breakfast and but it also allows for the bride to get ready right on site.
