We couldn’t have been happier choosing Featherwood Farm as our wedding venue—everything was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, and the manager handled every detail with calm professionalism, even during high-stress moments like the storm just before the ceremony. The food was exceptional, and the accommodations were incredibly comfortable. We would highly recommend Featherwood Farm to anyone looking for the perfect place to get married.

Struggled for months to find a wheelchair accessible place to stay in South Africa not too long a drive from Jnb airport, yet close to game farms so we could see wild animals(the gentler ones like beautiful buck & giraffe etc - not the scary ones😄), & finally found Featherwood. We booked the farmhouse & wheelchair accessible thatched cottage together (but not the single ensuite rooms to the left of the thatch cottage). It's so great (& seemingly rare in SA) to find a place that enables the wheelchair to move almost completely freely everywhere, allowing wheelchair users consideration, instead of being cruelly excluded from so many luxury accommodation properties. The staff were helpful & also set up the fire for us as the evenings were chilly, so the house stayed warm. The location is ideal for self-drive game viewings if you book at the game farms/reserve nearby. The pool & beautiful gardens are well kept & the managers are quick to respond when you need help. Attended a wedding at Featherwood farm. They were extremely well organized, friendly, helpful. Everything was clean and well looked after. The food was amazing.. Overall, an amazing experience. Highly recommneded for any group celebrations

We flew in for an early October wedding and found ourselves in a beautiful location with very friendly staff and wonderful accommodations. The day came with challenges due to weather and the staff made it go off without a hitch. The food was wonderful and proportioned well. I couldn’t be happier for my sister in law to have such a great place to help her on her special day. Thanks!
