amazing location, staff are friendly, basic food, service times are relaxes but considering its in JoBurg you know it could be better with just a little TLC

Let your legs rest after a steep walk to the top or just come and relax with a cup a tea or bite to eat . Service was fast. Just did not enjoy the iced coffee.

The waiting can be sorely improved, I have been there more than three times, they don’t pay any attention to you unless you are Caucasian. The cups for coffee should be improved they are old and cracked. I understand the aesthetic is rustic but we would like a nice experience when drinking coffee to. Please also cater for milk alternatives too.

The atmosphere is amazing, and the food presentation was not too bad. However, the taste and the texture of the food were not up to standard. The pasta was very dry and stiff as if it stood for a few days, the chicken was burned at the bottom and over cooked on the inside, the Thai curry was really not authentic and had a ton of pepper, the sweet chillie chicken had no flavor besides bottled sweet chillie sauce. The fruit was super sour.
