On the rooftop with beautiful views of Sandton! Beautiful at sunset. The ambience is great, they have a resident DJ so the music is right. They serve tapas only and drinks so great for a cocktail venue. Attended a birthday party here and they allow you to ring your own cake, decor like a balloon arch etc. The staff were really friendly!

I attended a private function at The Roof. The staff was very friendly, and the service was top notch. The Roof offers a nice backdrop to enjoy sundowners. Ice cold beers + sundowners = winner

If I could put a headline to this review I would call it “Missed Opportunities”. The Roof is a cafe/venue at an office park in Fourways. The views are great especially around sunset. Even though the cafe is in an office park, there’s no wifi. I invited my team of 10 people to work outside the office and we chose the roof but had to leave as 1- no WiFi 2- no electricity sockets to charge devices. Even though the place is supposed to open at 8 am, I was there at 8:30 am and there was no one. A lady did arrive 10 minutes later and was clearly not happy to see us. A lot of the chairs are broken and the tables wobbly and clearly the staff do not take pride in the place, as they leave those broken chairs and wobbly tables in the same place. Not recommended during the day, you can try it in the evening on some of those days when they have events.

Obviously, had an AMAZING time here at the Tonic trance party but your staff kept on taking away half and three quarter full drinks while we were on the dance floor. You really need to speak to your staff as that is not OK! Happened at many tables along the tables outside along the railings and by the end of the night a bunch of people including myself were fed up with this.
