Our search for the perfect wedding venue was extensive — we are very meticulous people, and we compared many options in detail. Not a single venue we considered came close to The Barn Wedding Venue in terms of pricing, value, and what’s included. They truly cater for virtually everything. From flowers, décor, and catering to guidance on photographers and officiants, the venue handled every aspect with ease and professionalism. Amelia and her team made the entire experience incredibly personal and effortless. Payments, arrangements, and visits to the venue were smooth and stress-free thanks to their warm, organised approach. And the food — oh, the food! Our guests could not stop raving about it. Plate after plate, people kept telling us how they simply couldn’t get enough. On our wedding day, everything was set up exactly as we requested. The attention to detail and the way they brought our vision to life left us genuinely impressed. If you’re looking for the perfect venue for an intimate wedding, The Barn is absolutely worth considering. I cannot recommend The Barn enough! My daughter’s wedding was stunning, thanks to the beautiful decor and the wonderful owners who were so hands on and kind throughout the entire process. The catering was a highlight, the food was fantastic, and the portions were so generous that we were able to feed our overnight guests a full breakfast the next day with the leftovers. A huge thank you for making her big day so special!

We had a joint birthday celebration for 60 people and it was awesome. Such a lekker homey and warm atmosphere. Absolutely awesome food. Beautifull table decorations. Everything went perfectly. We loved the donkeys! It was so nice to have safe parking and not to have to worry about anything. This is definitely a perfect venue for any type of celebration.

The venue itself is beautiful, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the owner. She was unfriendly, difficult to deal with, and constantly complained about minor issues, which made guests feel unwelcome. There is no bar, so you must bring your own alcohol, yet you are still charged corkage per person. Overall, despite the lovely setting, I would not recommend this venue based on the poor service and atmosphere.
