We recently hosted a memorial at Marigold Banquet Hall, and it truly met our expectations. The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and respectful atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Vanessa and her staff were attentive, helpful, and handled everything with care and compassion, making a difficult day much easier for our family. We’re very grateful for their support and would highly recommend Marigold Banquet Hall for any special occasion.

The Marigold Banquet Hall Often we look for a place that we can offer our guests the same fuzzy home welcome. That's the same feeling I got recently when I attended a function at The Marigold in Merebank. Hats off to Vanessa Bandiah. She created that ambiance with her presence, food, deco and music. It's a venue for all seasons. She is an attentive listener and gives the client what they need to create their function. Her attention to detail is superb. She is also willing to advise but prefers to let the client put their stamp on their function. The venue easily seats over 160 people without feeling cramped or overcrowded. There were 10 seats per table. The table decor depends on your choice and theme. The front of the hall has sufficient space for a table setting and the music group. The tea and coffee serving stands were setup with sweet and savoury snacks. Later on there was a buffet with a variety of dishes to suit the discerning taste buds. The food was tasty and a temptation to go for a refill. The layout from the front to the back was arranged to avoid crowding. There is a positive flow and vibe. I felt that no one was in a hurry after the function to leave. Everyone lingered on for a chat because of the feel good factor that the venue offers. It's a one stop venue. The Marigold Banquet Hall staff and set up are superb. The team are friendly and helpful. The deco was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The staff ensured all Covid protocols were adhered to. The toilets were clean and very neat. Security was onsite and this ensured safety. The catering stations were well layed out. The hall is large and tastefully draped, even prior to the personalised set up. All I can say is if you are considering a walk in and walk out venue where your deco, food, layout etc is catered for, this is an ideal location. Thank you to Vanessa and her team for ensuring our event went off without any problems.

Thank you so much for facilitating my brother's nelengu ceremony and allowing for it to be a tasteful, elegant function. The hall was so beautifully decorated, the food delicious and warm hospitality were all major plusses
