A Home Away from Home at Weltevreden Manor My recent stay at Weltevreden Manor was nothing short of amazing! Nestled in the heart of the KZN Midlands, this beautiful family estate offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful escape or an active weekend, this spot has it all. From the moment I arrived, the self-catering accommodation felt like home. The luxurious farmhouse setting, surrounded by stunning herb gardens and endless trails, truly lets you embrace the farm life. The tranquility here is unmatched, but the real highlight was the warm hospitality of Nicky and her incredible team. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and unforgettable. Whether it’s pre-cooked meals, event planning, or simply taking care of all the details, they make sure you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Midlands without a worry. If you’re looking for a unique event venue, Weltevreden Manor has something truly special to offer. The rolling lawns, scenic views, and charming old barns create a magical atmosphere for any occasion. It’s the perfect place to host an event and share in the experience Nicky and Sarah had growing up on this estate. Weltevreden Manor is more than just a place to stay—it’s a retreat, an adventure, and a chance to feel at home while escaping the busyness of everyday life. I can’t wait to visit again!

Such a beautiful experience. Beautiful views and excellent service. Such a peaceful and loving energy fills the environment. We were able to go for walks into pine forests & visit an old airway landing strip. With daily from the cows & natural life. Not to mention the cute, comfortable and cozy couples suite we were able to stay in! Overall such a wonderful stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to reconnect with nature , themselves and their significant other or family. ❤️ Lot of love from Claudia & Tiego.

Thyme Out in Curry's Post is a wonderful escape from the busy city life. Thyme Out offers self catering accommodation. There are a number of rooms to choose from: a loft apartment or family style rooms. The accommodation is luxurious. The bed is comfortable and the linen used is beautiful. Towels etc are provided. The kitchenette has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. This property boasts gorgeous views. The sunset is medicine for the soul. Early mornings on the farm brings with it the distinct sounds of cattle which sometimes grace very close to house. The garden is lovely and very tranquil ... a great place to enjoy your early morning coffee. Thyme Out is a treasure!

More than a 'weltevreden' stay here! The family room is spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. Comfortable beds and the kitchen is supplied with coffee, milk and tea. There is a mini fridge and microwave available for self-catering. A heater to warm up, it can get quite cold here. The bathroom is supplied with towels. Outside the room is a porch and also a braai. The surroundings is breathtakingly beautiful. We took as stroll with the kids in the garden and also down the road. What a beautiful garden! So many flowers... Great place to take photos. The service great. We needed one more bed (something went wrong on the booking app). They immediately helped us and the owners made sure everything was sorted out. This review does not do this place justice so rather come and have a look for yourself!
