I would recommend EPIC FUNCTIONS AND CONFERENCE CENTRE UMHLANGA with full confidence. Sharmaine and her husband are fantastic hosts. From the location to decor, food, music, parking and staff service were 5 STARS. There are so many decor and menu options to choose from. Venue seats max 150 guests in round or straight tables provided in package. Sharmain also includes table settings, cutlery, crockery and centre pieces in package. Her prices are so affordable and what you get is excellent service, delicious food and great music. Parking is also ample and safe. Never tasted such delicious cornish curry and mutton curry. All guests had a fabulous and unforgettable time at EPIC. Thank you to Sharmaine and husband and the lovely staff. Every success to you all in the future.

Thank you for creating such a beautiful setting for a magical Oscar-themed evening. The food was delicious, the decor amazing and all the frills were so beautiful.. By the grace of God, it was a night filled with love, laughter, and precious memories. I am so grateful for your wonderful hospitality. 🎬✨🎉... its my second event at Epic n they are absolutely amazing...Well done n God's blessings on you and your team!!

We had my dad’s 60th birthday here and let me just say Sharmain and Ashton the couple who run this venue were truly heaven sent! They were incredible, every add on, every time we changed our minds they graciously accommodated us. The set up far exceeded our expectations and the food was raved about by all our guests… starters and desserts too! The floor staff who helped clear the tables and managed our bar service were outstanding. Everyone was warm, welcoming and so kind. The night ran so smoothly, efficiently and effortlessly. And the best part was that we were able to walk in and out knowing everything was handled and sorted. Either Sharmain or Ashton were always nearby throughout the function in case you had to flag them down for any reason and so we knew we were well looked after. And on a side note the toilets were extremely clean. Genuinely a place that is worth your money, it is also worth having your function here as you will not regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Birthday At Epic Functions. The experience was phenomenal, decor was sophisticated , the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was sublime. A variety of tailored dining options merging eastern and western flavours. The desserts were indulgent and Epic Soji was the crowd pleaser. 10/10 experience - well done to the team for a magical evening.
