Very bad place to go to,rude staff, room was disgusting, bad smell ,disgusting and dirty couch, bedding was wet and dirty with hair. Like I got in an hour after people were intimate in those sweaty covers. I told the staff I'm not happy with the room and they were rude saying there's nothing they can do. No bathroom towels and tissue paper. Oh not forgetting cockroaches inside the kettle I was supposed boil water with for my coffee. Don't go there unless you enjoy my experience. Another thing, they assume prices on your arrival.

Nothing was good at all this time. From welcome to goodbye. It felt like they were not ready for our arrival, all they were interested in was the R890 that did not fit the service we got. The whole room was dirty the bathroom too. The lady that helped us was so cheeky, for breakfast she served us hot water, milk n sugar, no teabags or coffee sachets, just that and she was talking on the phone while serving us. We all used different sets of cutlery which we don't do even in our homes. That lady had no manners what so ever. One of the rooms had no dstv decoder, she brought it and we had to hook it up ourselves. In the couple room we had 1x glass n 1x tea set, the other room had no glasses at all that they had to request. It was so disappointing, we paid R890 per room and we got R89 worth of service in return, and its not like it was a last minute booking, we book very early in the month even paid a deposit but they were just not ready. The standard has dropped so much from when we were there the last time.

This venue is a breath of fresh air. Everything is neat as a pin from very well presented and well furnished rooms to every corner of the colonial gardens. Lots of art deco and superb furniture . Simply beautiful and a great place for tourists, business travellers or romantic couples.

Not a particularly pleasant experience, I had to share a bathroom with other guests. No bathroom inside my room. I doubt I'd ever refer someone I know.
