About Sica's Guest House

Sica's Guest House and Conference Centre is situated centrally in the Durban area.

We have a lovely, intimate chapel, a gazebo, function and receptions venues as well as many bedrooms. Although we are in the city, it has a real country feel when you enter into Sica's. We are pretty flexible and know the bride is always right initially.... As this is a very special day, we try and make it as memorable and stress free for brides and grooms. We are a family owned business and we have been going for 25 years and have done many, many weddings. Feel free to come and have a look and chat to us.

The state booked us to this hotel, we were attending a work course at Durban central. Would recommend it, we had a beautiful experience the staff is very friendly the food tasted delicious everyday because we stayed there for 6 weeks. Cannot complain about anything, the peace and quiet was gold wish to visit again with my children, and family.

Wow!!! Honestly this is a true gem! My mom and I had to pop through to Durban and we chose Sica's Westridge main branch, we got a beautiful twin room with fantastic facilities like aircon, a beautifully clean room. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable and have everything you could need. Their restaurant is amazing in that you feel that fine dining but comfort at the same time and every meal is delicious and the portions are tremendous, wow, what a chef. The team of staff are incredible, every which way you look there is a smile to greet you and they ensure anything and everything you need, wow! Thankyou! Would recommend this gem to everyone, definitely choose Sica's if you're looking for timeless comfort with amazing food and friendly service!

The cleaners never cleaned our room, we stayed there for 2 weeks. We’d find the room like we left it. They don’t wash the cups, they are dirty and still smell like the coffee we had in the morning. They said the hotel is self catering but it doesn’t support self catering as there’s no kitchen for the guests to cook their meals. There’s only one commune microwave and there’s only one iron. Whenever you want to warm your food or iron your clothes, you have to walk out of your room and go to their kitchen and their laundry room.this guest house is just great for one night or two

Beautiful tranquil place with lovely rooms and excellent service. Really enjoyed my short stay, loved the cats. Very friendly owner who shared the history of the venue with me. Would highly recommend this venue and would love to return there someday. Thank you to all staff and owner for a great place to stay.
