Wedding of a family member. The venue,altho +- an hour's drive from Durban,was both stunningly beautiful and very well run and managed. There are suitable and comfortable accommodations available at the venue. The food tht the chef and her team put up was first class, on par with a 5 star hotel in my opinion. A wonderful day and evening with absolutely no problems experienced at all...

As a former wedding photographer in the Western Cape, I had the pleasure of capturing one of my last weddings at Sweethome Weddings and Fun—and I can confidently say it is one of the most accommodating venues I’ve ever worked at! The owners go above and beyond to ensure that not only the couple but also the vendors, from photographers to DJs, feel supported throughout the day. Their hands-on approach and attention to detail help everything run smoothly, taking the pressure off the bride and groom so they can fully enjoy their special day. One of the standout features of this venue is its beautifully designed photo spots, which are thoughtfully created with photographers in mind. Did a friends wedding this past Saturday and have to say.. from the chapel, to having canapés on the lake and finally the reception, everything was perfect. Food was also good and our meal was very straight to the point if I could say so. Derek is one of those people who go the extra mile and make sure everything is attended to and also makes sure you have everything you need and that you’re comfortable. From a DJ Point of view, my setup was so simple because of plug points everywhere, hiding cables was also very easy and made everything look neat. Definitely hope to be back there one day and will definitely be recommending the venue to couples. Pics and videos to follow soon☝🏾

Lovely wedding venue. Attended my cousins wedding here. They have a beautiful Chapel on site. With the event hall just a short walk away that overlooks a lake. Everything on the day went off beautifully. We'll run and efficient. The food was great as well. They have rooms available in the premises where guests can stay. Our families booked out the entire place. The rooms are self-catering, and have everything you need. They are however quite small. The walls are also very thin, so if some are still in a party mood when you want to rest, you may have a problem. There is a lovely communal area with a big fire pit. There is a covered area with big table and a joined kitchenette and toilet. All in all a fantastic all in one venue that I would recommend.
