What a luxurious, quiet, spacious place. Loved the place. They went all out when designing it. Rooms are big and they also have family rooms. The only issue I had was the breakfast pack. It was made the previous night and kept in the fridge and the juice was at room temperature. Like scrambled eggs and bacon that were prepared the previous night. And we were not told. Their restaurant has nice food and the service is tops 👌🏾👌🏾 Will visit again but will never request a breakfast pack.

RESTAURANT - Lunch on the 22nd May for my wife's birthday . We booked 12pm for 12.30 and decided to both have the Aliwal Platter at R290 each (not cheap) by any means. What a disaster the only edible thing on our plate was the 3 prawns, and the grilled squid heads, the calamari was tough, and the fish which we found out when we paid our bill and we both did not eat was barracouda - it was absolutely disgusting - grey and cold and inedible. We brought doggie bags home and gave it to our dogs. Lazy Moose is supposed to be a upmarket restaurant - well we were not happy with our food. Our total bill came to R800.00 and quite honestly we will advise friends and family to be very careful of what they eat at this restaurant. MR PETER DAMON

When I tell you guys this place is the definition of peace and tranquility I mean it! The staff were super friendly, my room was so beautiful! Their food was amazing especially the food and well the cocktails … let’s just say I’m happy I could hop skip and jump to my room 🥰🥰 so worth it ! Thank you lazy moose 💃🏽

We had a fantastic experience at The Lazy Moose today. The food and service were excellent from start to finish. We shared the Cajun grilled line fish (Dorado), served sizzling on a hot plate over a bed of spinach with onions and mushrooms, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I also had the queen prawns with peri-peri sauce, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the seafood, and it’s great to see such a strong focus on locally caught fish. The setting is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant is very close to the beach and surrounded by beautiful gardens, with koi-filled fish ponds and bird nests that add to the relaxed, natural atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully decorated and a lovely place to sit back and enjoy a meal. Having food of this quality in the area is truly special and not something you come across every day. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend The Lazy Moose for both the food and the setting.
