Thank you to Zee the owner for allowing us to sleep in the outdoor stage area in order to keep our stuff dry on our 2026 motocamping roadtrip.

A jeweled hideout in the outskirts of Greytown. It is truly a gem for a wholesome family breakaway. Caters with fun-filled activities both for adults and children. Lots of open space to frolick in the greenery of the resort. There are self-catering cabins, ranging from 1, 2, and more rooms, with individual braai stands, or a lapa (at the time of going to press - renovations were at an advanced stage) pool areas for kids, putt-putt, etc. An area so serene, you could easily forget the hassle and bassle of city life. The owners are friendly and do their best to meet your creature comfort needs. For the business sector, there's a conference center of note. Catering may be provided. I need to confirm with the owners. No alcohol or raunchy parties are allowed as this is a family orientated hideout. This is a Halaal certified venue. By the way, I didn't get to see any bees.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Bee Hive Family Resort with my family, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service, stunning facilities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The accommodations were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The resort's grounds were beautifully manicured, with lush gardens, sparkling pools, and plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. 🙏🏾🥇

We found a place where time stood still, On Greytown’s gentle, peaceful hill. The Beehive called, and we obeyed, To rest beneath the trees and shade. Zeenat and Aslam – hearts so kind, With open arms and warmest mind. So thoughtful, caring, full of grace, They made the Beehive feel like place. Among the goats with coats so white, And donkeys braying with delight. Sheep, ducks, and chickens roam so free, While rabbits hop in harmony. The land is lush, the air is clear, A nature-lover’s dream draws near. The stars unveil their Milky Way, A sky so grand it steals breath away. There’s fun for all – both young and old, With waterslides, both brave and bold. The fufi slide made adults cheer, Mini-golf and pools brought laughter near. A playground waits with youthful song, While time flows gently all day long. And if you wish to venture out, There’s much to see and walk about. The lake at Greytown, calm and wide, With Shu Shu Springs not far aside. Leilani’s healing waters call, And Midlands’ game walks charm us all. A venue too for weddings fair, A venue that’s wrapped in forest air. With love and care in every thread, The Beehive gently lifts your head.
