About Sani Valley Lodge

We have exclusive Honeymoon Lodges situated on the Lake, with Jacuzzis and “five star” finishes, they are the ideal honeymoon getaway.

Sunsets from your own “bath with a view” and sunrises from the king size bed will be difficult to forget. Privacy is paramount and tranquility is a given. Spar treatments on your deck overlooking the Southern Drakensberg Escarpment watching your partner sip champagne in the Jacuzzi is a honeymoon moment which is very hard to beat! To ensure you have the Honeymoon that you dream of, please complete the questionnaire that we supply you when you make a booking. That way we know what interests you and how we can assist you in making your Honeymoon unforgettable. We make honeymoon packages tailored to each individual couple. On arrival you will receive a chilled bottle of Champagne and a box of irresistible chocolates to set the mood for your stay. A Picnic lunch out on the boat, away from everyone is a lovely experience. When you eventually make it back to your lodge a quiet Jacuzzi before dinner (set up in your Lodge, with candles) whilst the sun sets over the lake will be a memory forever etched on your mind. For the more adventurous, a game viewing ride on horseback or even a hike up to the Bushman Paintings should make you tired enough to enjoy a full body massage by our experienced masseurs on the deck over looking the lake. Whatever you can imagine, tell us and we will endeavour to make it happen. We also have the ideal wedding venue for those that are looking for something a little different from the norm. A Bedouin tent set on the edge of the lake is something quite spectacular, or possibly a clear roofed tent that lets in the stars, you tell us your budget and we will make sure it is a weekend you will never forget. Our stay at Sani Pass Nature Lodges was absolutely exceptional. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views over the lake. Waking up to such stunning scenery was truly unforgettable. We loved seeing the zebras and buck roaming around—it made the experience feel so special and close to nature. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding, with delicious home-cooked meals that were clearly prepared with care and love. Everything was perfect, and we truly wanted for nothing during our stay. We would highly recommend Sani Pass Nature Lodges to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely stunning!!! If you book this for your wife she will be proud of you!!! Food is excellent, service perfect and fishing is on point!! We only caught big buss trout!

I have spent many holidays at Sani Valley Lodge and loved the space, fishing, swimming and just being lazy in the jacuzzi. Each lodge i have stayed in felt private, very comfy and tastefully decorated. Our extended family and friends had enough space to hive off and read or socialize at the clubhouse. There are lovely short and longer walks with gorgeous views of the mountains. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It's a wonderful getaway.

Amazing stay in the middle of Africa. The views and surroundings are just breathtaking. As soon as you pass the bumpy road down you will be rewarded by wild animals, stunning lake views and a fabulous breakfast. You should stay as long as you can and you will never want to leave again! Highly recommended ☺️
