We had the most fantastic few days in this well appointed house, that has been lovingly, uniquely and tastefully decorated by Penny and John, who do go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and at home. Its spaciousness is further emphasized by the surrounding landscape and views. Well worth the missed international flights back to Europe!

We loved hosting our wedding at Mission House! It allowed us to create something that felt very personal and unique. While we initially wanted an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, a downpouring of rain brought the ceremony inside to the barn, which ended up being the most magical and intimate, candle-lit ceremony. Thereafter we moved the party to a stretch tent outside, where our guests had the biggest jol. Penny and Jon went out of their way to get the venue ready for us and accommodate our plans. The house is also the perfect venue to get ready in, and the setting is ideal with beautiful views and lots of accommodation options nearby

One of the best AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely home and an even better host. Penny went over the top to accommodate me and my family. Always proactive and ready to help as much as she can. The home is absolutely stunning. It was spacious and adorned beautifully while still giving a homely atmosphere. The interior was absolutely stunning. Such amazing attention to detail. A definite must stay!

Mission House is an absolute gem in the Midlands located between Howick and Curry’s Post. We loved having our own space to relax. Most of the spots in this area are guesthouses or B&Bs. However we prefer to self-cater, in style. Mission House is a beautiful and peaceful spot that met all our needs. If you want to eat out, there are plenty of nearby places. Penny recommended Fable and The Barn Owl. We tried and loved both. Mission House is wonderfully decorated in a clever, tasteful, modern and comfortable style thanks to Penny’s flair, with much of the furniture designed and made by John. Beautifully comfortable large bedrooms and bathrooms with great views. Penny was really friendly and helpful throughout the booking process and while we were there. We felt like it was a home away from home.
