My experience with this accommodation was extremely disappointing and, quite honestly, frightening. From the moment we arrived, the exterior of the property was alarming — the walls are visibly cracked and the entire place looks like it’s falling apart. It gives a very unsafe and neglected impression, which is made worse by the fact that no outside photos are shown online. This feels very misleading, as you are completely unprepared for what you arrive to. There is no dedicated parking for guests, which adds to the inconvenience and overall feeling of insecurity. The property itself is also not clean, and there is a stale, unpleasant smell that hits you as soon as you walk into the rooms. It does not feel fresh or well-maintained at all. The staff were not friendly or welcoming, and communication was a major issue. The person I had been in contact with before check-in became unreachable for the entire evening. When I finally managed to get hold of her, she told me I should deal with the staff on-site. However, the so-called “butler” simply showed us to the room and offered no reassurance, guidance, or sense of safety. It felt like they just wanted us to check in and then figure everything out on our own. Even what appeared to be the reception area looked very dodgy and unprofessional. The entire environment felt insecure and uncomfortable. I was traveling with young children at the time, and I genuinely feared for our safety. It did not feel like a secure place to stay at all. The lack of transparency about the outside condition of the property is very unfair, especially on a platform like Airbnb where guests rely on accurate listings. Arriving there felt surreal — like I had ended up in the wrong place. The overall experience was so unsettling that I decided not to stay and booked alternative accommodation for the two nights instead. I would strongly not recommend this place to anyone. The condition of the property, poor communication, and lack of safety make it an unacceptable option for accommodation.

Beautiful, serene area once you get there. Very rustic, perfect for a group of friends or family. Fishing, kayaking, hiking. 😍 make sure u pack plenty of food and drinks.

This is Nonhlanhla responding to your comment: FYI- the owners of the app have resolved my complaint by processing a full refund, this comes after I shared pictures of the place that I took and the screenshot I provided showing there was no response for over 12 hours after I checked in and asked about the security presence in your place. I see you are standing on the leg that I asked for refund because of my experience with your place. You honestly expected a woman you are no longer responding to on whatsapp to drive back at night to sleep there or bring your keys?? come on now! If you go to great lengths to please you customers and are proud of your place, why don't you put up pictures of the outside of your premises on the pamphlets and on booking platforms, it shows how proud you are of you offering in the Witchery walls of Jericho. If anyone wants to make a booking, please insist on getting pics of the exterior of the premises, pools and parking for your car, after driving in that rough gravel, you honestly deserve value for your money.

Great for a quick gettaway with friends (including your furry friends) it has tons of swimming pools to keep you cool. Rustic but super nice! We stayed in The Chapel room with outdoor bath and shower.. loved it
