My stay at Marula Gardens was a mixed experience, but overall a pleasant one with room for improvement. I really appreciated how friendly and welcoming the staff were throughout my stay. From arrival to departure, the team made me feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and the general environment was warm and inviting, which made the stay enjoyable. The food was another highlightthe meals prepared were delicious and clearly made with care. However, I was a bit disappointed with the serving process. The serving station was often cleared before everyone had finished eating, which meant guests could not go back for more food. This made the experience feel rushed. Additionally, while the lunch packs were tasty, the portions were quite small, and by the time dinner came around, it was easy to feel very hungry. One area that really needs attention is the bathroom facilities. The toilet would sometimes get blocked, requiring multiple flushes, and the shower drainage was slow, causing water to build up during use. These are small issues individually, but over several days they do affect comfort. Overall, Marula Gardens has a lovely atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff, which made my stay enjoyable. With some improvements to the bathroom maintenance and food service arrangements, the experience could be even better for future guests.

Cannot recommend this place so peaceful and the host. So welcoming, home from home. It had everything from kettle in room to fridge and mosquito repellent. Comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings.

A perfect place to stay peaceful, efficient, and very friendly, clean staff are brilliant. Everything you need.. the owners are on site and available … hopefully I’ll be able to visit again …
