Your entire team went above and beyond in every way. The venue was always neat, tidy and spotless, and all toilets were maintained and cleaned at all times. Thank you for providing golf cart transportation for our guests and for ensuring our elderly family members were comfortable, cared for and able to enjoy every moment. A special thank you to Sash for your calm leadership and professionalism. Despite the challenging weather, you ensured everyone's safety, no one was injured, and the entire vicinity was well managed, well maintained and kept beautifully throughout the function. Unalome is a stunning venue visually, but unfortunately the management and overall experience were extremely disappointing. Despite the premium cost, there was no on-site support on the day. Access to the property was repeatedly delayed for vendors and family, and communication was poor throughout. There was also a complete lack of basic bridal hospitality — no welcome, no water/snacks, no acknowledgment of the wedding day at all, which is something most venues provide as standard. The guesthouse experience was equally frustrating. After confirming checkout times and paying in full, I was later asked to check out early to accommodate another bride. Post-wedding, despite declaring damages immediately, deductions were made from my deposit without invoices or proper documentation, and communication around this was unprofessional and unclear. Throughout this experience, the tone of communication often felt as though I was being done a favour, rather than being treated as a paying client. The venue itself is beautiful, but the lack of organisation, transparency, and client care made the experience incredibly stressful. With better communication and professionalism, this could be a great venue — but based on my experience, I would not recommend it at this time.

A hidden gem in KZN that offers elegance and structural beauty- the attention is definitely in the detail… We had a beautiful experience and the venue coordinator is the best- communication was excellent.
